Sniffin the outdoors!

Meowm is actually opening the big sliding door now....almost every night! I love it!! I get to smell the great outdoors!!! I can smell the pine tree outside our home. I smell the ducks, yep they are still here. I smell other cats......hiss!!! And I smell fall in the air!!! It hasn't rained lately, but I hope it does again soon!!!

Rainy weekend....

I think fall has officially come to Utah. We had quite a bit of rain over the weekend and it has gotten a bit chilly. Meowm was kind enough to open the big door for me and I was able to smell the wonderful outdoors, which smelled especially good with all that rain!!! I have been doing my usual napping, but I have been curling up in a tighter ball with the chill in the air! I may have to start curling up with my Meowm at night now.

I passed right by my one year blogiversary!!!

It was on the 17th! I can't believe that I missed it! Hmphf!! I guess I was just so busy training my Meowm, and being Lord of the Manor (as you can see in the picture)that I let it pass right by me! I also think that Meowm owes me a gift to mark this momentous occasion!!!

My tail!

I HAVE THE CLEANEST TAIL!!! Not my whole tail, but at least the top two inches of it. I love to dip it in the giant tub of water when Meowm is in there. I dip it in there everytime she is in there! Meowm is always telling me "Your tail is getting wet". I KNOW this! I PLAN this! I dip it, get it good and soaked (and then comes the best part), I flip it around just so I can fling water on Meowm! It is so funny to watch her try to dodge the droplets!!! Then I go clean off all the water. It is so fun I sometimes go back for a second dip! You should try it!!

1. I love to eat catnip! I am not content to merely sniff it, I must ingest it! That is why I tear up my nip toys!

2. My need for a VERY tidy litterbox is a recent development. This need only started within the last month or two....before that I was very easy goinb about the state of my toilet!

3. I like to sleep with my Meowm, but only after she has actually fallen asleep. She wiggles around to much for me before that. I just get comfy and she has to move and upset my comfort, so I wait till she is deep in her z's and I settle in for MY z's.

4. I am loving my dry food more than my stinky goodness lately. This bothers Meowm cause I still demand my stinky goodness, but don't always eat all of it, and sometimes only eat about half of it.

5. I LOVE the bit tub of water that Meowm gets in! I like to drink out of it and swish the water around with my paws. I anxiously wait for Meowm to get in it, so that I can reachthe water. If she is on the human litterbox and being pokey about getting in the tub of water, I often stare at her to let her know she needs to hurry up and get in there!

6. When cleaning my paws, I pull at my claws to get the shedding part off (I think my wonderful friend Kaze does this too!). It drives Meowm nuts, but I do it anyway!

7. I am tying really hard to NOT get kitty acne. Meowm checks out my mouth and puts this asty stuff in it...she calls it peroxide. I hate it, but Meowm says it is necessary, cause the other option is much worse.

Finally Friday!!!!!

It turns out I have my Meowm better trained than I thought. She cleaned up my litter box almost the moment she walked in the door. I let her change her clothes first, then she set to work on this important duty. Of course, I snoopervised, I had to make sure she got it done properly. AND she finished up just in time...as I had need of the facilities! I have no idea how I managed to train her so well, but I am glad I didn't have to yowl at her.

I did, however, have to put the bitey on her last night (the kind that doesn't draw blood). She wouldn't stop trying to pet me when I didn't want to be touched so, well, a mancat has to do what a mancat has to do. I guess this ins an area where I need to train her more. I will work on that over the weekend! For now, it is time for a nap!

I almost got in trouble this morning......

and I received a new name. My new name is JuniorwhydidyouhavetodothisnowwhenMeowmislateforwork? That is some name! And I almost got in trouble cause I flung almost all of my litter out of my box. Now, Meowm knows that is my way of telling her that I want her to clean it out, and I don't just mean scooping. I mean dump it all out, wash it and put in
fresh litter! I think it is a perfectly reasonable expectation.....she keeps her littler box clean....mine should stay just as clean! Anyway, she cleaned up my mess, as she should, and told me I would have to wait for the rest. WAIT!!!!!???? What is up with that??!!! She should have stayed home till the job was done! I intend to have a long discussion with her tonite about this transgression!

Tabby Tuesday???

Can you see my stripes? The ones on my tail and a couple across my belly? Can I be an honorary tabby for a day? (You can click the picture to bigify).

Do you like my new rug? Meowm brought home two of them for me! I know they were for me cause they have blue in them and they match my eyes! Plus they have little tassels on the ends of them for me to play with.....so of course they are for me! I have the bestest Meowm in the world!

Friday!!!!!!!!!

Even though Meowm stayed home yesterday cause she was feeling poorly, I am so glad it is Friday cause it means more time with her!!!!! While she was home I did my best to take care of her. I snuggled up to her while we napped and I kept a close watch to make sure she didn't get to feeling worse.

I made Meowm laugh Wednesday night. She was in the big tub of water in the human litterbox room and I was playing with the blankie on the floor (Meowm calls it a bathmat). She steps on it when she gets out of the big tub of water. It moves around alot so I was playing with it and under it. Mewom was laffin at me! It was great! Then I went out to the living room and did the same with a rug. The rug is more fun cause it has these things on the end (Meowm says they are kind of like tassels). Whatever they are, they are very fun to play with!!!

Meezer Rule Wednesday!!!

Meowm and I had a great 3 day weekend! Well, Meowm had a better one than I did. She went and spent time with the Bare Toe Lady. And the place that the Bare Toe Lady was for the weekend has woofies and another kitty. I got to smell them every time Meowm came home. That was fun, but also kind of ticked me off! Not only was Meowm not spending EVERY extra moment with me, she was with OTHER animals!!!!! That, combined with the extra time she was gone...well just didn't make me very happy. I loved the time we did spend together, but I expect her to spend ALL her extra time with me.

Anyway, for this Meezer rule I say that you must show your disapproval when your bean has ticked you off! I showed Meowm I was ticked off that she had been gone more than I thought she should and I also showed her I was ticked off about the other animals. She loves to pet me and I let her get away with it from time to time, so to show my anger, I let her pet me just a tiny bit, then I got hissy and clawed and bit at her, so she had to stop. That will teach her!!
