Tormented Tuesday

I am so tormented by that girl cat being in our home!  Why doesn't Meowm understand this?  I can't help myself, I chase her and whap at her rear end, then I end up being closed in the room with the big bed.  Whatever is a mancat to do?

Tabby Tuesday

Just me.....the good boy.......grooming and playing.

I just sit back and watch my brofur plot the next way to chase our sisfur.

Sometimes I just sunbathe.

Other times I curl up with my brofur for a nap.

And always miss curling up for a nap with my Junior brofur.

Miss Moo Monday

It's me again, Miss Moo!  Your fierce warrior!  I am not very pleased to report that I have had to give in and let myself get pills.  My Aunt Anna has the semi-magic touch.  She "burritos" me and I give up the fight, except for a bit of a growl.  She pries my mouth open, drops in the pills, and then holds my mouth closed till I swallow.  Then, the best part, I get let go and get treats!!!!!  I suppose I can endure that ill treatment if it means treats at the end of it.

I am eating well again, and not sneezing much either.  My ear feels better too, so I am not shaking my head as much.  It still bothers me a little bit, but not like it was.  With any luck I won't have to back to the v-e-t any time soon!

That orange cat is getting a bit closer to me these days.  I think he wants to play a bit, but I am still unsure of him so I  hiss and swat a little.  That gray cat is still chasing me sometimes, and I haven't wanted to stand my ground and just let him have it.

Meowm says her wrist is healing now.  She got the auntie-biotics and something called a tetanus shot.  It is some very nice colors right now.  I am quite proud of my work!  I didn't know I was such a good artist!  Red and green and yellow look rather nice together if you ask me!

Tales for Thursday

This is a photo from a happier moment.  The horrific happenings of yesterday are still in my memory and I couldn't bear to have any pictures taken last night.

I was unceremoniously shoved into the PTU yesterday afternoon, and made to endure the longest time in that thing on wheels.  It was not fun and I let my Meowm and Aunt know about it. Then, yep, you guessed it, we were at the v-e-t.

Once in my larger, yet still prison room, I searched and searched for a way to escape.  None were to be found.  So I started the search for a hiding place and finally found one, although it wasn't a very good place because the v-e-t lady came in and found me right away!  She scooped me up and I got weighed again.  Nothing is sacred in this place!  It was noted that I had lost a little weight from a week ago.  Well, a lady doesn't want to ruin her girlish figure does she?  Then the v-e-t looked deep into my ears, so deep I thought she was tunneling her way to my brain.  Then she peered into my eyes, and I tried to shoot her down with my lasers, but alas, it didn't work.  Some talking ensued after this, then the v-e-t left for a bit.  I went and hid behind my Meowm.  I curled up as little as I could make myself.  I was just getting comfy when the v-e-t came back in and I was pulled out from behind Meowm.  I was stabbed with something, then shoved back in the PTU.

I played like I didn't understand what they were saying, but I knew.  My ear is still infected, so I got a shot of antibiotic.  Meowm was sent home with more antibiotic and with a steroid.  I fear I am going to balloon up and look like a panther with those steroids!

Finally we left the v-e-t place and thus began the long journey back home.  I was quieter on the way back, as I was planning on how to exact my revenge.  Once we got home I had to check the place out and make sure all was left in its place.  Then things calmed down..........for a bit.

I was sitting calmly on my perch, watching outside when I was grabbed by the back of my neck and Meowm tried to pry my mouth open.  Oh no, not this again!  I remember the last few times this was done to me and I was having none of it.  So Meowm gave up and a bit of a battle from me.  I was triumphant.......for a short time.  Then I was ganged upon by my Aunt and my Meowm!  At first my aunt grabbed me and my Meowm held my front paws.  Well she left me no way to defend myself except by my teeth, so I bit her!  I sunk my teeth in good!  And alas!  I was free again!  But only for a short time.  My Aunt pulled me back out of my corner, despite me whapping her a good one with my claws, and I was wrapped up tightly in a blanket.  Then my mouth was forced open again and that nasty pill was dropped down my throat.  Then finally my mouth was shut again, but held closed!  I had no choice but to swallow the offending pill!

I am proud to report that I recovered from that ordeal, but Meowm will take some time to recover from that bite, and my Aunt will need a bit of time for her scratches to heal.  They may have won the battle, but the war rages on!

Tabby Tuesday

I am so glad I am mostly a good boy.  I only occasionally chase Emily.  Even then, I don't so much chase her as just want to sniff at her and get to know her.  Meowm knows it has only been a short time, but she is very concerned about the Sammy and Emily dynamic.  She wants Emily to feel relaxed and safe, and she would prefer to do it without somehow pushing Sammy back in his shell.
Honey, over at Big Honey dog, said that her Meowm hisses at Muesli to let her know when she is doing something wrong, then when Muesli corrects her behavior, talks to her in a very nice voice.  Meowm is going to start doing that here, and hopefully that will make a difference.

Meowm is very glad that Auntie Anna is there during the day, because she has seen things that Meowm wouldn't have seen for quite some time.  It makes understanding what is going on much easier.  Plus having her around is helping to keep Sammy more socialized and it is helping socialize Emily a bit.  Auntie Anna calls me Momma's boy cause she says I meow at the door each morning right after Meowm leaves.  I can't help it!  I love my Meowm!

And you know what?  I am the only kitty in this household who hasn't had to be at the v-e-t in the last 6 months!  And I intend on keeping it that way!  I still curl up with Meowm at night in the big bed and keep her company too.  Yep, I love my Meowm!  She is my favoritest person in the whole world!

Finally Friday

Could this cute face ever do anything wrong?  No?  I didn't think so!  I can't help myself!  I just have to keep track of my new sisfur and run after her every chance I get.  Meowm should be happy us cats sleep so much, because if we didn't, just think of how much chasing I could get accomplished!!!

It does frustrate Meowm though.  I am becoming more social and she hates to ruin that, but she can't have me terrorizing my sisfur either.  I have to admit, I don't like getting closed in the bedroom when I have behaved badly.  But what else is Meowm to do?  She can't get any of that pheromone stuff right now, and she isn't entirely certain the Jackson Galaxy stuff was working for us.

I guess time is the answer.  Just give us some more time.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Miss Moo Wednesday

Meowm likes to call me Miss Moo on account of the fact that I am a cow kitty.  I don't quite get it, but whatever, you know how weird humans are.

I got hauled to the evil v-e-t yesterday.  I get a bit of revenge every time because I always pee in the PTU.  Unmentionable things were done to my behind, you all know what I am talking about.  The v-e-t lady looked deep into my ears and peered at my eyes a lot. I tried to turn her to ash with my laser eyes, but it didn't work.  She must have had some kind of magic force field around her.  Then I got taken into the back and they took picture of my bones.  That was very weird!  Who needs pictures of bones anyway?

It was decided that I have an inner ear infection and maybe a little bit of arthritis in one of my hips.  I was given a shot and I saw the v-e-t give Meowm some things to shove down my throat.  Boy am I gonna have fun with that one!  I am sneezing and my nose is running, but it is clear stuff so far, so I got an antibiotic shot, mainly for my ear.  Those other pills are apparently for my hip, but I only got three pills.  Guess I will have to make the best of those three times and use my razor sharp claws of doom a lot.

I am eating, so that is a good sign.  Meowm and Auntie Anna think that maybe that gray cat is coming after me because he senses I am sick and supposedly weak.  Boy am I going to show him one day!

Thank you all for the purrs and prayers, I do appreciate them and I know Meowm does too.  Please keep them up till we know I am in the clear.  Thank you!

Miss Moo Monday

I do not know what to do about those mancats~!  Well, the orange one is not so bad, he mostly keeps his distance still, but the gray one.....sheesh!  He just can't leave me alone.  It is to the point that sometimes all he has to do is be near me, and I hiss at him.  I understand he used to bother another cat that used to live here, one that has gone to the bridge.  You would think that gray one would learn, but no, he is a stubborn cuss.

I am very much enjoying our new room mate.  I love having her around, especially at night as I like to lay on her for a bit for loves and scritches, and the rest of the night I have a human to lay near.  Sometimes my new Meowm shuts those mancats in the other room and I have run of the place.  That is nice when that happens.  Or they are both sleeping and I come out to enjoy myself.

I try not to complain, it is better than that nasty shelter I had to be in for awhile.  I get good meals here and I have a favorite toy I like to play with.  I have cushy spots to lay down and snooze, so life could be much worse.    I do think we all are hoping for more peace and calm though.  Hopefully that will come with some more time.

Meezer Monday

Meowm says we are going to try to get back to some regular blogging now.  We are a bit more settled in with our company.  We are really enjoying having someone home for a good portion of the day to scratch on us.

It has been hots outside so we haven't had quite as much window whiffing time, not even much bird TV.  Meowm says we gotta block as much heat as possible.

So our company is now known as Auntie Anna, and Emily loves her!  We usually hang with Meowm once she goes to bed so it has made it easier for Emily to roam a bit.  Plus the living room is basically Aunties bedroom right now, so Emily gets to have someone to hang with all night.  Meowm wishes she would get braver and hang with us in the bedroom, but she is just glad that Emily has some company.  We will have to hope she learns that she is safe with us all and that later she will hang out in the bedroom with us.

Not much other news.  Just enjoying life!

Have a great week everybody!

We has to share a picture of Junior!
