Finally Friday

Could this cute face ever do anything wrong?  No?  I didn't think so!  I can't help myself!  I just have to keep track of my new sisfur and run after her every chance I get.  Meowm should be happy us cats sleep so much, because if we didn't, just think of how much chasing I could get accomplished!!!

It does frustrate Meowm though.  I am becoming more social and she hates to ruin that, but she can't have me terrorizing my sisfur either.  I have to admit, I don't like getting closed in the bedroom when I have behaved badly.  But what else is Meowm to do?  She can't get any of that pheromone stuff right now, and she isn't entirely certain the Jackson Galaxy stuff was working for us.

I guess time is the answer.  Just give us some more time.

Have a great weekend everyone!

~~Sammy

Awwwwww... can you try to be a little bit nicer to your sisfur and maybe chase her just a wee bit less?? I hope so. But you know, that sort of thing goes on here too -- more often than I wished it would!

I think playing playing and more playing with something other than your sister can help! Good luck!

Sammy, we think you need to play until you PANT! That will wear you out. Also, would you be interested in walking outside on a halter? That might burn off a little steam Apparently not having any teefs is making you feel great.

Hi Sammy - ooh, you sound like you've been a naughty boy! I hope you do sort things out and things settle down. BTW, has your Meowm ever tried hissing at you? Hsin-Yi does that to Muesli whenever she does anything naughty anhd it works remarkably well coz it's sort of llike language she understands. Hsin-Yi goes "SSSsss!!" in a loud hiss to interrupt Muesli's behaviour and then switches to a soft, Happy Voice as soon as Muesli stops being naughty. She's managed to teach Muesli lots of good household manners this way, such as not scratching the furniture or going on the dining table or kitchen counters. It takes a while and some repetition initially but it does seem to have great effect! :-)

Sammy you have the lovely round chops!

We wondered if your Meowmy could get a screen door made so that Emily could stay in one room but you could still all see each other and get used to each other. You could swap around rooms too.

This is how our apes got Mungo used to us here and it seemed to work well, smells mixed, noses could be touched and all cats could see all cats getting pets and attention.

Gerry & Mungo

PS: Our Dad made the screen door, just a wooden frame with half inch, plastic garden mesh for the screen. The hinges are simple drop ins (so the door can be moved to other doors easily) A spring clip is used as a closer (He had to add a peg to push into the doorframe as I, Gerry learned how to open the screen hehe. It's not pretty, but it works a treat.

If you want details our ape will take pics to show it, just email us! :)
