Meowm has still been sick so we haven't been around much. She stayed home yesterday, but went to the doctor and got some pills to take. I am glad it is her that has to take them and not me.

We got visited by that little cat Meowm is trying to help. He/she hung out on my porch again for quite awhile yesterday. Meowm didn't do the food drop yesterday morning like she usually does and I think the little one knew that and was reminding her. So Meowm was sure to put it out on her way to the jobbie this morning. I played with the kitty through the window....swatted at the glass and stuff. I think Meowm is gonna set up another box and put it on the porch for him/her to hang out in. Meowm just want the little one to have some cover and maybe stay a bit warm this winter. She thought he/she looked a bit better, not as much snotty stuff on its face, so hopefully it is doing better from its kitty cold. Maybe she can get a picture this weekend and you can see this little one for yourselves.

I am off to nap, Meowm kept me awake to much of yesterday. Its hard work nursing your bean(s) when they are sick.

Snowy Wednesday

It snowed for us yesterday! Meowm was at home not feeling to good so we watched it out the window. It's purrty chilly today! I can't wait till Meowm gets home to snuggle with me!!! Everybody keep warm!

Meezer Monday

We have high speed internet now! WOO HOO! It is so nice to be able to navigate the net quickly! And it will be tons easier to visit all our blogging friends!!!

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Meowm was gone a long time that day but she brought me back some turkey! It was so yummy!!!!!!!! And I got to spend tons of time with Meowm this four day weekend. Meowm went to work on Friday, but there was nothing to do so she was only there for 19 minutes.....so she came home and we snuggled and cat napped! It was wonderful!!!!

The Bare Toe Lady visited a couple of times this weekend. She plays with the feathers with me and I LOVE it! Meowm plays with me too, but not like the BTL does. We play fast and furious...Meowm is gonna have to get me new feather toys cause I tear them up when I play with the BTL.

Nikodemus needs your help!

This is one of my friends, Nikodemus. Well, Nik likes to scratch the carpet on one of the stairs in his home. Now his beans put up wit this behavior in the past, but now they have gotten new carpet and want him to stop.. I know, I know, silly beans, he is only doing what cats do. Anyway, his beans are looking for ways to help him stop this behavior. He can't wear softpaws (softclaws) whatever those things are names, cause he is an indoor/outdoor cat and need his claws for protection while he is outside. HIs beans have built him a scratching post, but so far he is not very interested in it. Any suggestions would be greatly apprecaited!

What a weekend!!!

Meowm came home a bit early on Friday, I was happy to see her and rubbed on her to prove it....she fed me, spent some time on that ringing thing, then left. When she came home several hours later I had thrown up.....in 9 different places. Meowm was very worried, checked on me and petted on me then set about cleaning up. While she was cleaning, I threw up two more times. That made Meowm even more worried. She finished cleaning and set up with me for a few hours. She finally went to bed and I curled up in one of my usual spots with her. She woke up about 3 hours later to check on me again. She also got up and spent a short time on that ringing thing again. I didn't want any food, and didn't mov from the bed, so we both went back to sleep. When she woke a a couple of hours later, she brought in the PTU. I knew I was in trouble then. I finally ate a tiny bit and drank quite a bit of water, but the PTU stayed out. Meowm left for a little while and then came back. I hadn't done much moving and hadn't eaten anything else. So Meowm hung out with me, then we took a nap together a bit later. In the afternoon Meowm put me in the PTU and off we went to the v-e-t. I didn't even feel like screaming at her very much while we were in the steel machine on wheels. When we got to the v-e-t place I quited down and just kinda checked out all the cats and woofies around me. Finally it was our turn to go in that little room...I was very glad cause I LOVE to check these rooms out. Meowm let me out of the PTU and I wandered all over the room, smelling everything. After a bit the v-e-t person came in and poked around on me....he also poked that thing in my butt! I growled and growled at him! Then I jumped down from the table and explored some more. Meowm and the v-e-t talked and next thing I knew I was back in the PTU. While waiting to leave the v-e-t we saw a sphynx kitty like Dragonheart! Her name was Delilah Blue. She was a very purrty girl and Meowm was excited to get to pet her and spend a few minutes with her. I only got to see her from the PTU but she was very lovely...big expressive eyes, sleek body! Meowm wished she had brought her flashy box thing, but she hadn't (silly Meowm). Anyway we went back home and I ate a bit more, and slept more, but no more throwing up, thank goodness. I haven't even had vile things shoved down my throat. I don't know what I got into, but I am glad I am not throwing up anymore!

On another note Meowm doctored up a box the other night for one of the stray kitties around here. She lined the box with an emergnecy blanket, and put a pad in the bottom of it. Then she sealed it up, cut a hole in it and put it outside under the stairs for this gray and white kitty that hides under there. She put a bit of food near the box. She has been checking the food and it has been disappearing, but she didn't know if the box was being slept in or not. Well, today, she went out for a short time and when she came back she checked the box out...it was a little to close to the stairs and she was afraid that it would be noticed nad thrown away so she nudged it wth her foot so that it would be hidden again, and the kitty came out of it. Meowm felt bad cause she didn't mean to rouse the kitty, but she was glad the kitty was sleeping in the box. Then the kitty came to our porch and hung out there for awhile, rubbing on the door and peering in at me. At one point Meowm went out on the porch to see if the kitty would come to her, but the kitty ran about 5 feet away and stopped. Meowm stayed there for a minute then came back in and told me that the kitty has a bad sounding cold, so she is gonna see if she can get a humane trap and get the kitty some help. So say some purrayers that she can help this kitty and that he/she will get better.

Here we go:
1. I am quite feisty (still) at times. Or maybe it is just part of being a meezer.... Anyway, if Meowm pets me too much I get feisty and let her know to leave me alone. If a "merow" doesn't work, out come the claws, if that doesn't work, I am forced to put the bitey on her.

2. I have been rubbing on my Meowm more lately. I don't really know if it is because she got a new job and bought me a great cat tree....but she seems to like it, so I will keep doing it now and then.

3. Meowm thinks I will only growl at other male cats coming into my territory, or maybe that is big cats, cause I growled at one of the big cats, but when some younger cats were in my territory, I just looked at them. What can I say, they are young, they know not what they do.

4. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my stinky goodness, but I don't always eat all of it!

5. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my new cat tree. I am spending more time sleeping on it than in my millie beds.

6. If Meowm does not get up in the morning when I want her up I meow at her. If that doesn't work I get up next to her head and groom her hair. this doesn't always get her up, but it does annoy her, and I am annoyed cause she won't get up, so it is only fair that she be annoyed too!

7. I always greet Meowm at the door when she comes home!

When your Meowm buys you good toys and starts a new job....you must love on her extra! And I have been doing exactly that!

Meowm says she is doing purrty good at the new job. There is lots to learn, but she is up to the challenge!

Meowm the Moneymaker Monday

Meowm is at her new job today! I hope all goes well for her! And guess what!!??? We are officially signed up for high speed internet! Meowm found a deal through the phone company and we just have to wait for the modem and software to get here. Hopefully Meowm's computer has all the other stuff needed. My Uncle bean is gonna help her get everything set up once it gets here! I can hardly wait!!!!!!!!!!!

**Update from Meowm** Not much happening today at the new job. Just getting settled in, setting the desk up, meeting with different people in the company. Not much of a clue as to all my job duties yet. Apparently several of us are going to lunch, my choice of place....I am thinking Applebee's. Will report more later.

Finally Friday!!!!!!!!

Today is Meowms last day of work! She has had a busy week! She was taken to lunch on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday! Today they are buying pizza for lunch...I guess that is her good-bye, good luck party. After today, I will not be posting as much or visiting as much till Meowm gets a quicker connection for the computer at home. But I will post and visit as much as I can so don't give up on me!

We didn't post yesterday cause Meowm is trying to get things done at her soon to be old job. We did get some visiting in, but not as much as we would have liked to. Life has been purrty calm, so I don't have much to share right now. I think I will go crawl back up on my tree and sleep some more!
