The sweetest, most warm thing I will do to my Meowmy is snuggle with her again like I did in this picture. She loved it and I love her so I will do this again. I have been hearing Meowm say something about a cat tree, so I think something will be coming home for me soon!

Not so tense Tuesday

Okay, the boss yesterday was pretty calm.....all he said to Meowm was "so you are quitting?" And Meowm said "yes". The other boss comes back tomorrow and she knows he will ask questions, and that is okay, as long as he remains calm.


Meowm got to go see one of her favorite authors last night, Laurell K. Hamilton. Laurell writes about vampires, werewolves and fairies. Meowm loves her books. Meowm didn't get any of the books she owns signed by Laurell, the line was so long she would have been at the bookstore till midnight, but she got to sit in on a question and answer period and enjoyed that. Plus she picked up the comic book that was created based on one of the books. All in all, a good evening for her, especially after the tense day at work. I did have to suffer, cause Meowm didn't come straight home after work, but she has promised me she will make it up to me. I intend to hold her to that! Extra Temptations for me!!!!!!!

Meezer Monday

As I type this Meowm's resignation letter (with 2 weeks notice) is on her bosses desk. He has yet to read it and she is nervous as a cat in a room full of rocking chairs. She is afraid that the boss will not react nicely. Meowm has a new job with a company called Rocky Mountain Recycling. She will be doing a different job than she currently does and will be paid better. She is a bit nervous about starting a new job, but knows it is the right thing to do for us. In the job that she is leaving her raises have only been $2.00 in almost 10 years.....not good. So the month to month expenses have been hard to keep up with....things will improve with this new job.

Once she gets to the new job, we may not get to as many blogs as we have been lately, or may not get to post as often on our own. At least not till we get DSL at home and the 'puter runs a bit faster. We want you all to know that we will visit when we can and we still love all of you to pieces!

I gotta go snuggle Meowm and see if I can keep her from being so nervous.

Meezer Monday!!

I have a great video I want to download...but I think it is gonna take a little while so I will work on it later today!

Guess what we heard early this morning?

A little tiny "mew". Meowm jumped up and looked out the big window and there sat two young kitties. They were so cute....yes even I thought so. There was one that looked kinda like Jeter Harris...but with long hair, and there was a meezer. They were so cute Meowm was going "awwwww, look at the babies Junior. We gotta figure out how to help them". We all sat and watched each other for a few minutes...then they ran away. I hope we see them again....maybe Meowm can get that flashy box thing out and get a picture of them.

Big Boomies!!

There was very loud boomies from the sky last night! So loud that Meowm jumped and woke up! I only jumped cause she did and I was sleeping next to her. Then all that water from the sky started falling, lots and lots of it! It was great!!! We had some of that stuff yesterday in the daytime and the ducks that I watch loved it! they were bobbing around in the water, dunking their heads and flinging water on their backs. Silly ducks! It looks like we are in for more water from the sky today! I will keep my laser eyes ready in case it gets really dark, but for now I am gonna go curl up and nap!

Meezer Monday!!

I got this cute thank you card from Daisy so I had to sniff it and rub on it. It's the next best thing to actually meeting her in person. (I also got a whiff of Miss Pixie, who also signed the card cause she got some mousies).

Meowm wasn't as happy yesterday.....and it was all I could do to get her out of bed this morning to feed me. Fridays are definitely a better day for her.

Finally Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Meowm has been dancin around singin "finally friday". I think she is glad it is Friday. She has been feeling cooped up at her jobbie, kinda like I feel in this picture. So now that Friday is here she can break out and have some fun! I am excited because it means she has more time for me!!!

Meowm is trying to fogure out a costume for me so I can enter Skeezix Halloween Costue Contest. She is gonna have to see if she can borrow someones computer to photoshop something. I hope she gets it done in time!

Bare Toe Lady

Bare Toe Lady came to see me last night. I know Meowm thinks that she came to see her, but I know the truth! I have decided that I quite like BTL, also known as Tasty Toes (she calls herself this cause I always check out her toes). As a matter of fact, if she were feline she would be the purrfect girl for me. But, alas, she is a bean.....so instead of snuggling with her in my millie bed I have to settle for worshipping at her feet, sniffing them and washing them with my tongue.

Tummy Tickle Tuesday

No, it isn't my tummy being tickled....it is Meowms tummy being tickled. And her tummy isn't literally being tickled. A friend sent her this email with a link to a birdie dancing. She laffed and laffed and laffed! Go check it out!

Chilly weekend

We had a very chilly weekend, so I just snuggled in my beds and with Meowm.

I did have company on Friday night. Bare Toe Lady and Lady Who Takes Care of Me When Meowm is Gone came over to visit. BTL played with me (kinda tormented me) and LWTCOMWMIG petted on me! It was great!!

Meezer Rule Wednesday

A meezer (anycat really) must always protect his (or her) home from intruders.

I have been keeping watch at the big sliding window for intruders. I have caught THREE intruders so far. I puff up my fur and give them the evil glare. I haven't been growling at them cause I feel like the puffy fur and evil glare are sufficient measures to scare the intruders. I also jump at them, but unfortunately I can't actually get them since the windows are in the way......but I know they are still scared!

Thank you to everyone for the wishes for Meowm to feel better. She does feel better and Tuesday was a much better day than Monday! She also may have a new job!!!! I will talk about that more if it actually happens!

Okay, I am off to keep watch again!

Sorry we missed everyone yesterday. Meowm had a rough Sunday and Monday. She hurt her neck several years ago when she fell off a horse and now she has troubles with it. So she has been dealing with lots of stress and that makes her muscles tense, then it gets her neck out of whack. So she had a severe headache on Sunday all though the day and night till she could finally get to her chiropractor on MOnday. She was hurting so much it was turning into a migraine, her tummy was getting queast and her eyes were getting sensitive to light. I snuggled up on the chair behind where she was sitting on Sunday and let my body heat try to help her neck feel better. Anyway, byt the time she got home on Monday from that work place, her neck felt better but she was very, very tired. I think she feels better today. Hopefully we can get around to visiting you cats today! For now, I am off to nap!
