Weekend Antics

This is some of what we did over the weekend. Meowm is trying to decide how to get some good pictures of us for Latte's Simply Siamese Fall Contest.

We are so happy!! Meowm doesn't have to work this weekend!!!! We don't think she has any plans either, so that means we might get her all to ourselves for this whole weekend!!!! WOO HOO!!!!!!

Meowm calls this "The Standoff". I don't remember what we were doing...or if we pawed it out after this picture was taken or not. We like to play in those cubes alot! They are great for hiding in and pouncing on unsuspecting brothers or bean's feet! Course, Orion rolls around in them and makes all kinds of messes. At least he makes Meowm laugh when he is playing in them!

I think you can click and biggify this picture to see our tails better. My brothers tail is a bit browner than the rest of his body....and my stripes are a bit redder than the rest of my body!

Marmalade Monday

Meowm thinks I am weird cause I sometimes lay in strange positions. She will usually let me lay in these strange positions for awhile, then she will move me. She just doesn't understand that these are COMFORTABLE to me.



Skeezix was kind enough to give us a coffee mug and one of those wonderful pink hats instead of the Keds for his Snuzzy drawings that we won. Meowm has weird feet and she has to wear certain shoes. She really liked those Keds but knew her feet would hurt if she wore them. We haven't got a picture of the cap yet, but I sure enjoyed checking out the coffee mug. THANKS SKEEZIX!! YOU'RE THE BEST!!

Thankful Thursday

We are thankful that Meowm is not as stressed at work.
We are thankful that our Meowms friend Anna is not going to have to have back surgery.
We are thankful for all of our blogging friends.
We are thankful that we have a roof over our heads.
We are thankful we have plenty of food in our bellies.
We are thankful that Meowm can help out other kitties, even if it is only a little bit.
We are thankful we have freedom of religion so we can purr for all our sick or hurt friends without worry of being in trouble.
We know we have other things to be tahnkful for, but these are the main ones that come to mind right now.

1. Favorite place to nap? Anywhere it is warm.
2. Favorite past time? Napping, eating, enjoying the occasional 'nip, playing.
3. Favorite treat? Temptations!!!
4. Indoor or outdoor preference? Well, I would prefer outdoor, but Meowm has other ideas.
5. How did you come to live with your peeps? meowm adopted me from Rocky Mountain Siamese Rescue after her first meezer, China, crossed the bridge.
6. Litter box, tree or fire hydrant? Litter box...but hte fire hydrant sounds interesting.
7. Best toy you ever got? Hmm, that would probably be the nip carrot!
8. Sleep in or early riser? Early!
9. Wish for all the world? For every animal to be safe and well taken care of!

Until We Meet Again Dear Pixie

We have just learned that Miss Pixie, Daisy's sister, crossed over to the bridge this morning. Pixie was a fighter....she fought her heart disease for several years. We are sad that she is gone, but thankful that she is no longer sick. She can now run and jump around and play to her hearts content at the bridge....and she has lots of friends to visit with.

Our thoughts and purrs are with Daisy and her family.

Thankful Thursday

We are very thankful that Meowm has a jobbie so she can feed all of us.....and we are thankful for lots of other things.

But we really wish that jobbie wasn't stressing Meowm so much.....we are having to purr on her double time right now to help her fight the stress.

Is it only Tuesday?????

We are a bit sleepy here today. I had a minor asthma attack last night and that always wakes Meowm up....and when she wakes up, my brother, Junior wakes up. Meowm sat with me, with her hand on me, till the attack was over. She always wants to snuggle me afterwards, but has to be careful about this because it makes me purr and then that triggers another small attack. So, this morning I had to take some medicine......yuck! The only thing that makes it okay is I get the medicine in a greenies pill pocket.

So we are resting today and purring and purring for all our sick or injured friends.

Hey Everyone!

We hope everyone had a great weekend! And for those in the nasty storm path, we hope you are all safe!

We had a calm weekend.....with playing and napping. We had some good rainstorms here on Sunday and Monday and it turned a bit chilly so we are enjoying snuggling close to Meowm at night. Meowm has been a little blue, but we are purring on her and she will be fine in no time. She did go get that massage thing for her shoulder and it is feeling a bit better, but not completely well. She says she will see what time brings before she decides what else to do.

It was very fun to hear and see the duckies playing outside in all the rain this weekend. They were wiggling around and fluffing their feathers and quacking up a storm of their own. They made Meowm chuckle. We do feel kind of bad because there are a couple of duckies that have injured legs and they are having to hobble around on them. We certainly hope they get better. Maybe we could all purr a little for them.
