Tabby Tuesday
Well, my food saga continues. Meowm brought home a variety of stinky goodness last Saturday for me (us) to try. We want nothing to do with the Natural Balance stinky goodness, no matter what flavor. We are however, eating the dry Natural Balance in the salmon flavor. Did we tell you about the BFF stinky goodness? Well, it stands for Best Feline Friend and it was delicious!!!! However, it only comes in fish flavors, and Meowm worries about mercury. Does anyone know if it is a higher quality fish food, is mercury still a concern? Dr. Daisy, what say you?
We actually had BFF the weekend before last, so on to the more current trials. Meowm brought home EVO in beef and venison flavors. We loved the beef and the venison was purrty good, but not as good as the beef. Meowm deemed this one she would buy us again.
Next up was one called Weruva in the steak and frites flavor. We guess frites stands for potatoes of some sort. When Meowm opened this she said it looked like something maybe she should be eating. And this food is made at a place where they make people food. She said the "beef" was shredded, but looked more like it should be pork or chicken. There was also little squares of white and orange stuff. Meowm thinks this was potatoes and pumpkin, and possible sweet potatoes. It was very interesting and we gobbled it up! This is a definite buy again stinky goodness.
The last can was by Instinct, and it was rabbit. Sorry all our rabbit friends. We loved this one as much as the Weruva one. Meowm said of course we liked those two, they are the most expensive. The Weruva is, if she remembers correctly $1.99 a can and the Instinct is $2.30 a can, for 5.5 ounce cans. Meowm said we may not be able to have as much stinky goodness as we used to. Bummer!!!!!
At this point in time, Meowm thinks she will alternate the BFF with the Weruva and Instinct. The BFF only comes in the 3 ounce cans and is 90 cents a can. She says we will stick with the Natural Balance dry, till she can get our stinky goodness figured and budgeted out.
Now, does anyone know of some good treats? Ones that don't have chicken in them and a bunch of extra pointless stuff in them? Course, our Temptations might be okay with all this other hypo-allergenic/grain free/healthy food.

So, Meowm is still bringing home different foods for me to try. Well, my brother has to eat them by default, but he doesn't seem to mind. Meowm doesn't see me pulling out my furs till she has to put me back on the Fancy Feast for a few days till she can get back to the store for the hypo-allergenic kind. We found a dry food that we will both eat....I think it is Natural Balance. So we are sticking with that dry for now, in either the chicken or fish flavor. I think Meowm will probably get a small bag of the fish this weekend, so we have that to munch on while we figure out which stinky goodness we will eat.
If it turns out that the fish still bothers my tummy, then we will have to move on to something more exotic. We didn't like the duck at all, so who knows what will be next. The last stinky goodness, in fish flavor that we tried and liked was BFF-Best Feline Friend. But Meowm only got two meals worth of that one, and she thinks she better try a few days of it, before she makes any decisions.
Oh and after we ran out of the stinky goodness in Natural Balance, and we were back on Fancy Feast for a few days.....I projectile vomited one morning. It wasn't very fun. Meowm felt bad for me, and picked me up and snuggled me. She also told me that even though the dry crunchy food was small pieces, I need to chew them still. She had to tell my brother the same a few days before my episode.....cause he did the same thing. Poor Meowm........cleaning up piles of vomit, one after another.

Meezer Monday
We did have sunshine!!! And Meowm did get some new pictures!!! You may ask why you are seeing an old picture. Well, our internet is down at home, so Meowm has to help us with our blog at other places....and she can't get the pictures to those other places yet. We are hoping everything is back to normal next week!
Well, we laid in the sun, napped and played thundering herd of elephants this weekend. What did you do this weekend?

I had to go to the v-e-t on Saturday! It was not very fun, but I behaved so well! I meowed a little when we first got in the big box with wheels, but then I calmed right down. Meowm kept her paw on me thru an opening on my PTU, so that helped.
Once we were at the v-e-t, Meowm let me out of the PTU and I promptly found a corner to hide in. I handled being weighed ok, I weigh 12.5 pounds. I didn't like the
v-e-t poking around on me at all, and I let her know about it by growling my displeasure. I did get lucky and didn't have to have anything stuck up my bootie, but I did end up getting stabbed twice! I was also very quiet on the way home, and I was extremely glad to be home!
On Sunday Meowm did something very strange. She scooped up some of my poop and put it in a little round container! I didn't even get a chance to cover it! She just grabbed me right up out of the litterbox and deposited me elsewhere, then went to work scooping up my poop. I am a little concerned about her mental status!
I did hear something about a hypo-allergenic diet. I have no idea what that is, but it sounded like I may have to go on one. I don't think I need a diet! I am only 12.5 pounds!
Meowm said that I better tell you that my poop came back free of critters. So I have to have special foods to take hopefully take care of my tummy. Maybe that is what the hypo-allergenic foods is for......cause I sure don't need to lose weight!

Thankful Thursday
Today we are thankful that we are safe and secure in our environment. We are very worried about all the wildlife being affected by the oil spill. It breaks our hearts to see those poor animals covered in oil, and their habitats being ruined. We are also worried for all the people whose way of living is affected by this as well. Please join us today with purrs and crossed paws in the hope that the oil will get capped off ahead of the planned time frame and that everyone will be able to recover from this in a decent amount of time.

Can you see it? A few weeks ago Meowm sent away for information on the Susan G. Komen 3 day breast cancer walk. The envelope the information came in was, of course, covered in pink. Well, she pulled out all the info and set the envelope down. I came along and laid on it one night while Meowm was out galivanting around. When she got home, she noticed that I was a pink cat! She laughed, tried to get some good pictures, then tried to wash me off. Well, the washing didn't work, and the pictures didn't turn out very well. She didn't even try to get pictures of my back paws, tummy, or chest. I am still a bit pink two weeks later. No one can say I don't support the walk for the boobies!

Award Thursday
We finally had to stand on Meowm and make her do this award that Puddles gave us some time ago. Thank you for this award Puddles!!!
Now we must share 9 things about ourselves. This might be rough.... you may already know all there is to know about us.
1. Junior is not a lap cat at all.
2. Orion would be happy to be on Meowms lap all the time.
3. Junior loves to be brushed.
4. Orion scratches everything, even though he has no front claws.
5. Both love to nap on the big bed.
6. Sometimes we fight over who gets the top part of the condo.
7. Orion is more talkative than Junior-who is the meezer and should be talkative.
8. Junior purrs more now that Orion has moved in.
9. Meowm loves us both tons and tons!!!
Now we are going to be bad, break the rules, and simply say, if you want this award...latch on to it!
Thank you again Puddles!!!
