Tabby Tuesday
I had to go to the v-e-t on Saturday! It was not very fun, but I behaved so well! I meowed a little when we first got in the big box with wheels, but then I calmed right down. Meowm kept her paw on me thru an opening on my PTU, so that helped.
Once we were at the v-e-t, Meowm let me out of the PTU and I promptly found a corner to hide in. I handled being weighed ok, I weigh 12.5 pounds. I didn't like the
v-e-t poking around on me at all, and I let her know about it by growling my displeasure. I did get lucky and didn't have to have anything stuck up my bootie, but I did end up getting stabbed twice! I was also very quiet on the way home, and I was extremely glad to be home!
On Sunday Meowm did something very strange. She scooped up some of my poop and put it in a little round container! I didn't even get a chance to cover it! She just grabbed me right up out of the litterbox and deposited me elsewhere, then went to work scooping up my poop. I am a little concerned about her mental status!
I did hear something about a hypo-allergenic diet. I have no idea what that is, but it sounded like I may have to go on one. I don't think I need a diet! I am only 12.5 pounds!
Meowm said that I better tell you that my poop came back free of critters. So I have to have special foods to take hopefully take care of my tummy. Maybe that is what the hypo-allergenic foods is for......cause I sure don't need to lose weight!

We bet you were super-glad to be home! Fingers crossed the poop sample is okay.
We're glad for you that you didn't get the 'bootie' treatment...that is absolutely THE WORST!! We're glad that you are back home and happy...yeah, we don't like the stabbling either, but I try to pretend that it is just like stepping on a pine needle...the pain goes away after a little while then we forget until the next time!! Hmmm...12.5 pounds...that's about 5.5kg...that is what I weigh...no one has told me that I need to go on a diet...why should you? You look fabulous!! Just come on over to our house if you get hungry!! Purrs, Lautrec (and Tiny)
You absolutely don't needs a diet, you are purrfect! We hopes your tummy gets better soon.
It sounds like over all you are doing well! Which is always good. Purrs.
You Mom STOLE your poop? Before you got to cover it? sheesh! Mom's are weird.
What kind of foods is your Mom going to feed you? Grayce has food allergies so we are curious.
Sorry you had to go to the Vet. We hates the vet too!
The Mouskateers do NOT like the Vet here. They had a nice where we lived before. They were quiet going to him, but they get noisy when they realize where they are going up here.
Miki will hiss and growl, Buddy will fight being handled, and the other too are like quicksilver getting away from the strange hands.
Eat well. And watch Mom. She sounds a little strange to the Mouskateers.
Oh dear, what a traumatic day - going to the vet and all those nasty needles stabbing you!
That is not good at all and we agree you have no need to diet at all although Martha has a hypo allergenic diet. Well in fact we both do cos it is easier and Martha is so greedy she likes to eat everyone's food!
Your meowm is acting strangely but at least you are only a little kitty - we know Mango, the relentlessly huge's mom took a bag of his poop to the vet!
Do you think the vet likes poop?
Book a flight and come over and relax in Scotland with me.
love
Bailey xxx(Martha has disappeared leaving me to catch up on the blogs!)
Sorry you had to go to the vet....I hope everything will turn out ok! Then you don't have to go for a long time again! SMILE!
Gosh Orion I'm sure glad you didn't have any critters in your poop. That's a weird place for critters. Nope you certainly do not have to loose weight. Your's is perfect. Sure hope the new diet helps your tummy though. Sorry about you getting stabbed.

I'm glad you got no bugs in your poops! And I hope you can find some good foods that you like and will make your tummy feel good!
Oh Junior - I'm so sorry I haven't been able to visit for a while (my human's been really busy and hasn't been able to help me visit my blog friends) - and I'm sorry to hear about your visit to the vet! Although it sounds like it wasn't too scary - and you sound like you were very brave! I'm glad there were no critters in your poo and I hope your new diet helps your tummy troubles.
My kitty sister, Lemon, used to be a real pig - as long as there was food there, she didn't care about anything else. Our vet used to just put down a handful of kitty kibble for her on the counter and she'd be busy stuffing her face while they were poking things in her bum or stabbing her with needles and she wouldn't care - she's just keep on eating! The vet said she had never seen a cat like that - it was the funniest thing (and no, my humans were not starving her at home...!)
Slobbers,

It's kinda fun for us, the vet I mean...cuz it's our mewmie's day hunting place. Still, if we had our druthers, napping would always come before vet visits!
Maybe they shouldn't say 'diet' but hypoallergenic gourmet meal and it would sound tastier...
Yay for critter free poop! Sorry about the v-e-t trip. Those are no fun.
