Finally Friday!

I can't tell you how glad I am that it is Friday! I have been feeling Meowms extra stress from work this week and I don't like it one bit! It is hard work purring on her and relieving her stress, so a weekend is just what we all need for some recovery time!

AND I still am not liking that Sammy. AND Meowm is still telling me to get over it and quit being such a grouch towards him. Well, there are just too many things going on! I wasn't used to him yet and now Meowm is packing things up! I just need all to be settled back down and then maybe I will have more tolerance for Sammy. I heard Meowm say something about a calming collar if I don't calm down. I guess time will tell what will happen.

Yes, Orion got extra treats for his purrthday and gotcha day. Sammy and I also got some extra treats, but not as many as the purrthday boy. Meowm was going to get a new toy out for him, but she has already packed them! I bet we get new ones once we get settled in the new place!!!

Mancat Monday

Well, we certainly had fun sniffing out boxes this weekend! And we are having even more fun playing King of the Mountain on top of the stack of boxes! Now, for Meowm to get some pictures! And we got lots of window whiffies this weekend! It was just a great weekend all the way around! We hope yours was too!

Thank Goodness It's Friday!!!!!

Meowm says she has to step up the pace on her packing this weekend. Me, I am going to find a spot in the sun and take a nap....or groom. Well I may have to go sniff out some boxes and snoopervise, but I AM going to get me some good naps and grooming this weekend.

Wordless Wednesday

Tabby Tuesday

I'm starting to not want to move. All these boxes piling up are very fun to roam around on and sniff out! Plus some are stacked kind of high and you know how we like high places!

My brofur Junior was kind of a bad boy this morning. He whapped Sammy just because he was walking by. Meowm kicked him off the big bed after that, and Sammy got to stay. But then a little bit later, Sammy tried to attack my tail, so then he got in trouble and kicked off the bed. Meowm says she wishes they would settle down and just get used to each other. I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens.

Oh and speaking of moving, Meowm is going to get a Feliway refill for once we are in there, just to hopefully help us all settle well. And she is going to go check on how the feeding stations and winter homes situation is coming along. Hopefully things are getting lined up well for those to go into place soon. Meowm figures she will just keep food in the car, and possibly some water, so she can stop off and do her feeding duties after work. She will be taking care of the area where we are currently living, and the building we will be moving into is a little further away. She says it wouldn't be bad carrying it all over in the Spring, Summer and Fall, but Winter will be no fun! Anyway, I am sure she will get it all worked out.

Meezer Monday

Our sunshine disappeared this last weekend. Well, that is what spring does to us. Hopefully it will come back soon and we will get more sun puddles. It wasn't an exciting weekend, things were purrty calm. We just snuggled with Meowm lots and got naps with her. We love those naps with her!

WOO HOO!!! It's Friday!!!!

We don't know who is more excited, us or Meowm!

Life has been purrty calm for us lately. Well, those boxes do keep popping up, but it isn't long before they are full so we don't get to spend much time in them. AND Sammy likes to shred them! Meowm has to get them filled up and tucked away so he will leave them alone. And if he doesn't start leaving mine and my brofurs tail alone he is going to have to have a smackdown!

But for now, I think I will go find a sun puddle to hang out in.

The sun is coming back out!! We are getting window whiffies again!! It is so wonderful!!! Almost as wonderful as sitting on Meowms lap!!

Meezer Monday

Meowm is getting anxious for the move. While she isn't excited about the actual moving part, she is excited that we will get more sunshine! And she is even glad to have more of a reason to clean some stuff out. She only wishes she was moving into a one bedroom place so she could have a tree for us in the bedroom as well as the living room. Oh well, maybe sometime in the future.

Not So Wordless Wednesday

We are very sad about Whitey's passing, so we took a little extra time off. Plus, as we said before, Meowm has been very busy.

But today, we finally are getting her to help us post! All is going well here. We are all starting to use our new tree a bit more. Meowm is starting the packing process, so it is a little weird that things are disappearing, but we sure enjoy crawling around in the boxes and sniffing stuff out!

Meowm took a tumble on the sidewalk Sunday afternoon and banged herself up a bit. When she drug herself back inside, she grabbed an ice pack and laid down on the big bed. We all promptly curled up next to her and started making her feel better and helping her heal. She's doing better each day, and hopes that there won't be any problems with her knee in the near future from falling on it.

Our weather is being weird! On Monday we had 63-67 degrees, then yesterday it was windy till around 5, then it started snowing. And it was a not fun storm, as the wind kept blowing. Today, the sun is back out and melting off the snow that fell.

Not much else to report right now. Hope everyone is having a great day!

Another Angel has crossed the bridge.

Our dear sweet furiend Whitey crossed the bridge today (Friday). Our hearts are broken and Meowm has tears falling.

Whitey and his Mom, Barb, had been fighting an unknown illness, and then he was finally diagnosed with diabetes, but apparently it was caught to late.

We remember when Whitey came to live with Barb, he was a bit beat up, but you could see the beauty shine through. Barb fixed him all up and doted on him. Some tough times occurred, as will happen when bringing a new cat into a house with others, but Barb persevered and things mellowed out for the most part.

We know her heart is broken, so please go leave a supportive message. Whitey somehow touched a bunch of hearts, even though most of us had never actually met him. Sometimes kitties just do that to us.

Have fun over the bridge Whitey. We will miss you tons, and we look forward to actually meeting you one day, when we join you over the bridge.
