Tabby Tuesday

It got brrrrrry chilly here last night. Meowm couldn't quite get warmed up and finally gave up and went to bed. That suited us just fine, we curled right up and together we all kept warm. It was so chilly last night that the red machine on wheels had a bit of a tough time starting this morning. I heard Meowm say something about "damn cold weather". She finally went out a got a few pictures of the white stuff so we could torment, I mean show Khyra.

Meezer Monday

We have had the lazies. Meowm didn't have to work the day after turkey day, so we have just been enjoying each others company and staying warm. We had more of that white stuff yesterday, lots of it.

Not So Wordless Wednesday

We had a snow storm last night. It didn't last as long as we were told it would, but it was still a bit nasty. Meowms machine on wheels was covered in snow, and she parks it under covered parking! That wind was mean!

Meowm felt bad for the feral kitties last night. At one point in time there was several of them hanging out on our porch. Meowm put food out a couple of times to help keep some fuel in them and hopefully help them keep warm. Then she cut on a plastic bin, put some towels and stuff in it, taped down and sealed up the edges of the lid and stuck it on the porch with the other winter homes. It probably wasn't as warm as the others, but at least it offered a bit of protection. We don't even know if anycat used it, we hope so though.

Meowm wishes she could build a big cat house on the porch, complete with heat for Winter and air conditioning for Summer....unfortunately we are certain the apartment complex management would frown on that.

Let's say some extra purrs this week for those kitties and woofies and other creatures out there with no warm homes (or cool depending on your current season) and no regular food.

Tabby Tuesday

I have found the purrfect way to play on Meowms sympathies. Sometimes when I try to jump on things I don't quite make it. I will be haging on the edge and I amtrying to claw in and get a hold, but I have no front claws. Sometimes I make it and sometimes I don't. When I don't it makes Meowm sad for me, and she picks me up and puts me where I was trying to be. She automatically picks me up and sets me on the counter so I can eat! I am wondering what else I could get if I work this just right......

Meezer Monday

Don't let the sunshine picture fool you, we had lots of snow Saturday night. And we lost our power, so we snuggled extra close to Meowm to stay warm. It was chilly on Sunday and tried to snow more. we nejoyed watching it, and are very glad we don't have to be out in it!

A Sorrowful Day

Today we have had to say goodbye to two wonderful kitties. Patches and Inigo have left us for the goodness and light over the bridge. These tow have fought illnesses for some time. Please go and leave a message for their heart broken families.

WOO HOO!!!!! Closer to Meowm being home for the weekend!!! I keep hearing her say
"v-e-t, teeth cleaned", and she keeps peering in my mouth. Then I hear "sooner than January". It's looking like a visit to the v-e-t is coming up.

WOO HOO again!!!! Meowms lap to sit on, and time to play with her. Weekends are so wonderful! I'm afraid that if my brofur has to get his teeth cleaned, my turn may not be far behind.

Moosie Wednesday

We wanted to feature Moosie today in hopes of helping find her a new home. We learned about Moosie thru our friend Brian. You can go to Brian's and learn more about Moosie from his post yesterday and you can also click here to learn more about Moosie.

Moosie is a floofy 12-year old girl and she is looking for a forever home. Her Mom left for the Rainbow Bridge. Transportation via Continental Airlines can be arranged at no cost. She is being cared for by Becky, her Mommy’s sister-in-law, but really needs a home of her own or she will have to be transported to a shelter. There are just too many cats at Becky’s house, which is way too stressful for sweet Moosie.

Please share Moosie's information. We really hate to see her ending up in a shelter.

Tabby Tuesday

I can hardly bear to tell you what Meowm did this weekend.......but it must be done!

SHE RAN OUT OF OUR WONDERFUL WELLNESS STINKY GOODNESS!!!!!!!!!

She fed us Friskies stinky goodness for two days (for breakfast each day) and while I loved it, it gave me the....oh it was not good.....it gave me the squirts. At least it was stinky squirts so she got paid back instantly. I am happy to say she brought home the proper food Sunday and all should be well again soon.

Meezer Monday

I scared my Meowm this weekend. I had a bloody nose. It didn't bleed too much, or last very long, but Meowm was concerned, and had tears in her eyes. She knows I need to have my teeth cleaned, but she can't do that till January. So she hopes that I don't have an abcess or something like that. I am my usual self, and eating fine, so she feels purrty comfy that it was probably due to the dry air, but she is watching me like a hawk for any signs of troubles.

Finally Friday!!!

Delicious, delightful, fun, funky Friday!!!!!! The weekend begins....naps with Meowm, snuggles with Meowm, scritches and brushes from Meowm. Playing Thundering Herd of Elephants!!!!! Watching the outdoor kitties thru the window, and if we are lucky, Meowm opens up the big sliding clear door and we can sniff the Fall/Winter air! We can hardly wait for Meowm to get home from her jobbie!!!!!

FINALLY HOME!!!

Meowm finally made it home! We were so very happy to see her. She waslked in the door, picked us up and gave us a good long hug!!! Then she set us down and gave us scritches!!! She read the notes from our catsitter about how well behaved we were for her, and was delighted with a small photo book that the sitter made for her!

Then Mewom got on that nasty phone thing!!! We were not very pleased with this, but we curled up behind her head on the chair and waited it out. After about an hour of phone calls, Meowm laid down and took a nap with us!!! One big happy, cuddly, warm pile......we can't wait for more!

I liked our sitter too! She gives good scritches! She told Meowm she could call anytime to check up on us, we will see if she does that ornot.

I had a good time playing THoE last night. YOu know sometimes, the mood just strikes you anc you can't help yourself. My brother didn't join me, but I had fun anyway.

Meezer Monday

Hope everyone had a great Halloween! We sure did!

We met our sitter on Saturday evening. She seems like a real nice lady. She petted on us alot and visited for about an hour. Meowm is still nervous, but we think all will be well. We don't like it when Meowm goes away, but we are lucky that we get to stay in our own home. Meowm won't be leaving for a bit yet, but at least now we know who will be taking care of us while she is gone.
