WOO HOO!!!! Friday finally made it! And we get a glorious 3 day weekend!!!! We are hoping for lots of sunshine to lay in! Meowm needs to do a new photo session!

Memorial Monday

MaxDog fought a long battle, but the cancer took him. Please go visit his family.

We didn't meet MaxDog till we heard of his illness, but our lives have been so enriched for the short time we got to know him. MaxDog lived his 106 days of grace with dignity, and he was full of life, despite the illness slowly eating away at him. MaxMom has written wonderful stories and words about the journey. We hope that one day, we will actually be able to meet.

Enjoy your time over the bridge MaxDog!!! We are happy you are healthy again!

Finally Friday!!!!!!!!!!

Whew!!! *swipes paw across brow** Finally Friday.....maybe Meowm will get her poop in a group and get some stuff done around here this weekend!

WOO HOO!!! Two days in a row! It's a miracle!

I seem to be doing better about not pulling out my furs. Meowm is watching me like a hawk! She is holding off taking me to the v-e-t while she sees if I stop this on my own.

Meezer Monday

Well at least Meowm is helping us with a post, even if it is later in the day! I will have to get my brother to sit on her tonite till she gets one set up that wil automatically post!

We had a great weekend! The weather was warmer in the day time! We got sunshine!!!!!!!!!!!! Meowm even got up early and laid in the sun with us! Wish we had thumbs so we could have taken a picture of it!

Finally Friday!!!

Our Meowm is slacking off and we don't know what to do with her! She is not helping us blog every day and we are getting tired of it! We are gonna sit her down this weekend and have a talk with her! Wish us luck!

Meezer Monday

So, it was kind of a rough weekend for us. I got urpy sick on Saturday night. I must have left 12 piles for Meowm to clean up. No one got much sleep that night. I felt so bad that even when Meowm petted me, I growled at her. I was purrty lethargic Sunday morning and part of the afternoon, but toward the evening I was myself again.

Then my brother, just cause he can't be left out, hurked up a hairball. Meowm really enjoyed that one.

Speaking of my brother and hair....he seems to be pulling the fur out on his back near his tail. Meowm is gearing up to take him to the v-e-t to make sure it isn't some sort of teensy critter crawling around on him. Some purrs for him would be welcome. AND our good friend Melvin has been doing something similar...but apparently his is a bit worse. We learned about this on the evil Facebook. So some purrs for Melvin would be good too.

Finally Friday!!!!!

So here are a couple of enclosures Meowm looked at yesterday. The long, green one can be found
here. It is kinda pricey, but Meowm likes it.

The smaller blue one can be found here. This is probably the one Meowm will end up getting.

Meowm didn't look to much at strollers. These two enclosures fold up to a small size, and with our small apartment, that is important.

Meowm also found this story about an enclosure this couple built for their cats. Check it out! It is wonderful!

Escapade~~escape

Yep, I had a brief moment of freedom the other evening......all too brief!

Meowm came home and me and my brother were screaming for food, and before she could get us fed, the bad boy orange feral kitty was screaming for food, and he can scream! So Meowm decided to feed him before us! Yes, I know, how dare she!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, she gets the leftover stinky goodness that we didn't eat and she heads for the door. He's screaming, my brother and I are following her. He's right at the door, looking like he is going to make a bolt for inside the house the minute the door opens. So Meowm is in this struggle of setting the food outside for him, and keeping him outside, and keeping us inside. Well, you know how ungraceful humans can be. Meowm fumbled around, dropped the food outside, and gave me just enough space to slink out the door. I don't know what I was gonna do....I was hungry, but at the same time I was tired of that bad boy orange feral kitty spraying on my porch! Before I could decide if I was gonna eat that food, or start a battle, Meowm scooped me up and plopped me back in the house....and she scolded me alot! My brother almost escaped too, but she made it back in before he got out.

Man, did I get a talking too! Meowm told me how I could get in a fight and get bad diseases. She told me how I could get lost (right, as if!) and not have my warm cushy bed to sleep in at night. She told me that bad things could happen to me out there. Well, let me tell you, I was NOT happy! I wanted to be out there! At least for a little while. Then she said "I love you, I don't know what I would do if anything happened to you. Remember when you were kinda sick and you had to stay at the v-e-t overnight and Meowm was in tears? It would be worse than that!" Well, how could I stay mad about that? She loves me, so I can forgive her for dragging me back in the house. However, I am starting a campaign for a stroller or one of those cage type things that would allow us outside, but still keep us safe!

Award Wednesday

Herman and Karen Jo gave us this award last week. Thank you so much!!! We are supposed to tell you 7 new things about us. We will see if we can figure out seven between the two of us.

1. Orion~~I wait till Meowm and my brother are asleep at night, then I go curl up with my brother.

2. We got new crunchy food!!!!! Meow is thinking that Orion may have IBD so she has been trying out some different foods.

3. Junior~~I escaped last night! It was just for a brief moment and boy did I get in trouble. More on that later.

4. Orion~~I was losing some furs on a couple of spots on my back, but it is growing back in now.

5. Junior~~I continue to be more loving towards Meowm. Well, I do have competition now you know!

6. Meowm has this bag that she takes to work....and e3very day when she comes home, both of us practically crawl in it checking out the smells. Meowm just laughs at us.

7. Junior~~Meowm thinks I have gained weight. I keep telling her it is only muscle, you can't prove by looking at me that I am any bigger though.

We are still purring for Herman! Keep eating and get feeling better dude!!!!!

Tabby Tuesday

Yep, we both have tabby in us, so you get both of us today. We have been having a great time watching those baby ducks. They chirp and chirp and we just watch and listen, and we lick our chops when Meowm isn't watching. ;)
