Mancat Monday

It has been awhile since we curled up on the big bed to do this!  Our new sisfur has taken over the big bed, and the entire room!  We aren't liking that too much, but we are adapting.  Meowm says we will all get to share the entire apartment, but that she has to get well first.  We can tell she is sick because of her sneezes and how she sounds.  We do feel badly for her, but we sure wish she would hurry and get better!  We miss our big window seat and the big bed.

Meowm does spend plenty of time with us out here in the living room area of the apartment.  She will nap out here now and then so we can snuggle with her if we choose.  She says it isn't very comfy for her though, so she doesn't do it as much as we would like.

Our weather got a bit chilly today, so Meowm let us sit in front of the fire!  We do so adore it and will be sad when it is to warm for it, so we will enjoy it while we can.

Sisfur Emily went back to the vet on Saturday and got more medicines.  She also bit the vet.  We had to give her 8 paws up for that one, as we have wanted to do the same but never have.  We do hope she won't feel the need to do it in the future though.  Our vet is actually rather nice...for a vet.  Meowm really does need to remember to take the picture taker with her next time one of us goes there.  She is so forgetful sometimes!

For My Adoring Public

I am slowly getting used to this place and those stinky boys that already live here.  It is very cushy here, I get good foods, scritches, kisses and I am nice and warm.  I may even forgive my new Lady for the atrocities that were done to my royal self yesterday morning.

I was scooped up and stuffed into that horrible PTU thing!  I was none to happy about this.  Oh where is my royal guard when I need them?  After a journey in less than royal style, I was let out of the PTU.  Then this lady came in and started feeling my royal body.  I was aghast!!!!  How dare a lowly human put her hands on me!  Then....oh I can barely speak of it, something was put somewhere that no lady, royal or not, should ever have to deal with.  Then I was taken away and my royal blood was stolen!  I am convinced they are going to commit to cloning with it!  I didn't take the theft of my royal blood lying down.  Well at least I didn't take it lying down till 4 lowly humans wrestled me down.

Then I was put back in the PTU and brought back to my cushiness.  I was so happy to come back to the same place.  you wouldn't believe what I have seen these last few weeks.  I don't think I will ever be able to erase the horrors from my memory!

I do miss my siblings.  I do not know what happened to them, but at least I was able to see them before we were separated.  I don't know what happened to my Queen either.  I do miss her terribly.  This Lady tells me that my siblings are in a good place, and that my Queen is in an even better place.

This Lady tells me this in my new home and that one day I will be able to leave the room I am currently in and have full run of the castle.  I am not in a big hurry for that, but it will be nice to have more space eventually.

I do have a new royal throne, but am loathe to use it quite yet.  I would purrfur one that offers me a little more coverage.  If one like that doesn't come along I suppose I will have to put this one to use.

Well, I am off for my royal nap.  I will write again at a later date.

Please Welcome Our New Family Member

Miss Emily!  Formerly from Rose and the Royals.  These pictures are in the hotel room.  We will be posting more as Meowm takes them!  She is settling in well.  She has met us boys, thru the protection of the large kennel baby Jan was in.  She has full run of the bedroom for now, but has been able to check out the rest of the apartment.  Meowm locked us in the bedroom while she was checking the rest of our home out.  Now we get to see how many nights of unrestful sleep we can give Meowm!
Marigold and Brutus are on their way home with Laura.
