Tabby Tuesday

So I got stuffed into the PTU last night and hauled off to the v-e-t. Now, I like certain parts of the v-e-t. I like being able to sniff around and check everything out. If they would let me I would check out the entire building! So I had no fun havingyou know what put you know where, and I was on the high side of normal for a temperature. My tail got looked at and poked at a bit, which I didn't appreciate much. My v-e-t confessed she hadn't heard of stud tail and she had to look it up, but she agreed that is what it was. So I ended up with a shampoo (Seborhea) for my tail, and a spot-on pipette of the same type stuff as the shampoo. Meowm had my lungs x-rayed because I was having some asthma like coughs. Sure enough, I have a bit of asthma, not as much as Orion, so I just got a depo-medrol shot. If I start having little attacks in about 6 weeks, then I will go on prednisolone. Meowm and I also came home with some Ketoseb wipes to help with the acne, and the pipettes can help the acne too.

At this point in time, Meowm would just like all of us to be well for at least 6 months. Oh, and about an extra $1000.

We're glad you got the treatment you needed from the vet and hope the one shot does the trick for you re: the asthma.

The mom sympathizes re: the vet bills, trust us. ;-/

We know about the green papers! Apparently, I used up about $1700 of them for my final (successful) spay operation (TBT got some of that back) and the vet doesn't do the annual stuff fer free either.

But he says we should save all the details fer a post someday, cuz its too long fer here...

Yikes! Nothing like a vet visit to cut into the treat budget...
Say, I had a fellow blogger offer to mail you an unopened package of kitty acne wipes!

I hope you are feeling better after our ordeal, Orion - that IS the point of having to deal with the vet, right?

Thank you for the prayers and purrs. I am starting to feel better. My staff made an appointment for me to visit the physician tomorrow. I'm up and nibbling Meow Mix, and grooming - as long as Madam does not bother me. I am humiliated that my staff saw fit to inform the world of my tushie problem. Some humans just do not know when to keep their big fat mouths shut! I am thinking about dismissing the staff. I am not looking forward to the humiliation at the physician tomorrow, but when you have beautiful long and purrfect hair like I does, it can be a trial. Then again, maybe some of the staff are jealous!

Thank you for your kindness and purrs.
