Mancat Monday

WE GOT TURKEY!!!!!!!! It is so yummy! We want more and more!

We had a wonderful time! Meowm was home for 4 days!!! We got so many snuggles and so much play time, it was so nice! And we had plenty of snoozes on the big bed. Sammy is joining us more and more, but we aren't certain he stays thru the night.
Meowm is still working on his ears, they just have so much dirt and stuff in them. He hates getting the cleaner put in, but it will be best for him in the long run.

Meowm is going to have to change up our foods. It seems that Orion and I (Junior) are getting feline acne from the current foods. Orion has lost furs on his chin, and Meowm keeps a good eye on my chin. I haven't lost furs, but Meowm thinks I have more of a break out than I did before. She got some different food yesterday, so hopefully that will help.

Other than that, we pray for our furiends in need, whether they be lost, hungry or otherwise in need and we help where we can.

Everyone have a great week!

Turkey and your mom?! Wow. We have never heard that plastic can hinder acne--we've actually heard it can make it worse so that you should use metal dishes.

You were so lucky to get turkey! Yum!

Yes, it's our understanding that plastic can give cats acne, so if you eat from plastic dishes, get your mom to change those to ceramic or metal!

Turkey is delish! We got ham, but we like that too so that's OK.
Sammy, eventually your ears will be clean...paws crossed it's soon. Mommy has a soft toothbrush that she gets damp and "brushes" our chins when we get acne. It helps loosen up the blackheads. There's also some over the counter wash she can use...ask your vet.

What Fuzzy Tails said about the bowls - make sure they aren't making your acne worse. If it's a food allergy, then maybe try completely different flavors - lamb and venison, I've heard, tend to cause fewer allergic reactions.

We 2nd (or 3rd or 4th or whatever) the suggestion that it is plastic watering containers that cause that acne. LC had a problem with that. We have a ceramic doggie food bowl that is sturdy, stable and large, an it holds plenty of water fer us 3. Of course, TBT changes the water evry morning...
