Routine

Rosie and Cheeto inspired this post. They have blogged about routine, so I thought I would share my evening routine.

1. Greet Meowma at the door, and I mean at the door.....so that she has to push me out of the way to get in. (Really I am getting a good sniff of outside and checking to see if I can make a dash for freedom).

2. Mrowr at Meowma while she puts her things up.

3. Do the stop and plop (Meowma loves this one...it is guaranteed to turn her heart into goo). I stop where I am standing, look lovingly at Meowma, then I plop onto my side. No laying down and rolling over! I simply stop and plop! I lay this way till Meowma picks me up and gives me suitable scritches. Something else I do while Meowma is scritching me is lay my head on her shoulder...if by some chance the stop and plop didn't make her heart turn into goo, this does!

4. I jump up on the counter, meow purrtily, head bump and rub Meowma till she gives me my food.

Once my tummy is full I commence with the usual evening play. Chase the mousie, or feathers or just relax and nap. Sometimes I mrowr pitifully and Meowma gives me treats!

Hi Junior. Thank you for visiting my site. You are a handsome cat also. Mom didn't know there was such a thing as a flame point siamese until she started blogging. The daily kitten started her out then Kat's cat of the day, then she was hooked. Found a lot of friends that like fuzzies like you and me.

Was really sorry to hear about your friend Bear dog. He looked like a bear, guess that's why he was named that. Mom had to put her dog Amber down a couple of weeks ago. It's lonely without her but it's getting a little better. So she knows how Bear dog's mom is feeling.

Momma said the Siamese before Cheysuli used to do that. She liked it because it was so funny when they plopped!

Yep ... Sounds VERY familiar. I'm good at the "stop and plop," too, but I change it up a bit: When Mom goes for the tummy, I sometimes bolt away giggling just to keep Mom interested.

Great routine! I just tend to run to the door, look all cute, and get away before Meowmy has the chance to pick me up.

I like that you get lots of treats at night. I don't get nearly enough treats though I did get some Greenie's last night.

We have to do the "Jump on the counter" thing to get our good food too. Do the humans realize how dangerous that can be - especially when they leaver their mail all over the counter that we skid on?

Do you get treats every night?

Your Meowma is very well trained.
