Toes

Our good friend Chase over at the Cats P (http://thecatsp.blogspot.com/) asked about the bare toes in yesterdays picture:

"I'm curious about these bare toes. Can you nibble on them??"

Well we probably could nibble on them, at least a little bit, but they are covered most of the time. Orion has been known to scratch them, but not on purpose. But now that you have mentioned nibbling on them Chase, we may just have to try to do that very thing.

Meezer Monday

So it turns out Meowm was around more than we thought she would be. She was home Saturday evening and we got to see Bare Toe Lady too! Then Meowm was home all day on Sunday! She spolied us with hugs, kisses, naps, scritches and play time!!!

Finally Friday!!!!!

We heard Meowm say something about being busy tonite and tomorrow...so we are going to do plenty of this while she is gone....and make her pay on Sunday!

Not So Wordless Wednesday

We watched the inauguration yesterday. When Meowm got home the TV was on...and she knew she hadn't even turned it on yesterday morning. Yep, we turned it on and tuned in!!!!!! It was cool...well except for the fact that we didn't see any cats there......and no one talked about cats, or added cats in the prayer, and they didn't talk about Cheysuli's bid for Presidency. Those beans sure can be rude!

Help Needed for a Friend

Hey blogosphere, Meowm has a friend in need and we are hoping that the blososphere will help with what they can.

Meowms friend suffers from PTSD and has not been able to get on disability yet...although she has been fighting long and hard to get it. She should be having a hearing in March and hopefully after that her disability will come through.


Her name is Kathleen and she has a 16 year old bean daughther and 3 kitties. Meowm doesn't remember all their names, or have any pictures, but she will try to get some to share with everyone.

So the problem is, Kathleen needs some papers for rent....both for January and for February. Most important right now is January or she will get kicked out, along with her bean daughter and her kitties...and that would be very bad.

So right now, $200 is needed...and for February it will be a big amount, $1100. We know this is alot to ask and we don't expect that it will all be covered, but anything will help...$1 or $5. If you don't want to send papers, gift cards for Wal-mart are always helpful as kitties and beans do have to eat.

Meowm says Kathleen always tries to be cheerful and upbeat, but this is wearing her out. Meowm can help her a bit, but not with as much as she needs.

I think this is how Meowm feels today. She is having sinus problems.....whatever a sinus is. We are gonna lay low and purr on her.

3. Even though she doesn't pet me as often as I want her to.

New Blanket

Grandmeowm made us a WONDERFUL new blanket for Christmas! Isn't it wonderful! And it's huge! Meowm hasn't been able to get a picture of Orion on it yet......she doesn't know that I am hogging it! As you can see this side has starts on it......and the other side has paw prints on it. We will have to get Meowm to get a picture of the other side. Maybe I will let Orion be in that picture!

Mousie Monday

Junior here:

Meowm had the big noisy, sucky machine out yesterday. She was moving all kinds of stuff around and letting that machine do its thing. She moved her chair that sits in front of the computer and I thought she was going to scream. Here is what she saw:

She found my mousies! Meeces!!! Mices! I was so thrilled! I have tried and tried to get those mousies out from under that chair and I have had no luck! I am glad Meowm didn't scream at them....she actually laughed!!!
