Sun Worshiper

This is my sexy sun worshiping pose!   Do you like it?

I have been surprising my lady with the things that I can do.  I have been opening the closet for her, even though she thinks I do it for me.

I opened the screen door on the big sliding door, I did that for me!  I wanted out there so badly.  It didn't last long.  My lady came and swooped me up and brought me back in.

Then I dashed out the front door!   I could tell she was panicked at that one.....but I made her work to get me back inside.  

My lady brought some stuff home tonite and fiddled with it at the screen door, but she didn't attach anything.  All I heard was mumbling and then "that won't work", and "that won't work either".   I guess she is looking fro something to lock that screen with so I can have window whiffies, but not get out.  I heard her say she is afraid I, or the boys, would jump, even from the third floor.  I hope she finds something that works soon!

I think you can click on my picture above and biggify it.  And when you do taht you can see my patch of black furs on my under carriage.  It is the only patch of black on my under carriage.  The lady thinks it is very cute.

Tabby Tuesday

I miss mine brofur.

Sammy and I still have our heads, and we aren't in the stockade or dungeon, but neither have we been knighted.  If Sammy doesn't quit staring at our sisfur, he may end up with a nice scar though.

Meowm has started the process of moving Miss Emilys litterbox and food dishes out of the bedroom.  She thinks that might help with the hissiness.  Sammy loves the bedroom, and Emily has to go in there to use her things.  She will be in the bedroom, and Sammy will sit outside the door and watch her.  She doesn't want to go past him, and she doesn't want him going past her.  Never mind that there is a second door that either one of them could use.  Sillies!  So after having read Cat Daddy, Meowm will be moving things slowly, with the hopes of having them in their permanent places by the time our Grandpawrents come visit in May.

Not So Wordless Wednesday

Most every one knows that NTM, Mo, took over the CB with the help of his partner Eyad.  Most everyone knows that they recently lost one of their beloved babies, Pete.  Well apparently the bridge needed another one of their babies, because sweet Chloe ran off to the bridge today.  We are so very sorry for their loss, even though the bridge is a wonderful place to be.  Please go over and give them all some words of encouragement and sympathy at Purrchance to Dream.

Mancat Monday

Can you guess which lump is under the comforter?  Tune in tomorrow for the answer!

Miss Emily gave Meowm a bite for her Purrthday.  Meowm was not amused, but she took it in stride.  It appears to be healing okay.  No angry red marks traveling up her arm, just sore and bruised.

Also, as some of you know, Miss Emily has a new perch.  We will show you a picture of that later in the week.

Thankful Thursday

Well, we have made it thru 3 full days of all of us cats being together.  That new girl still hisses at us mancats.  We aren't sure why either.  We just want to check  her out and be furiends.  Meowm says she has been thru alot and to give her some time, so we are trying.

Sammy is braver than I and will be in the same room with her.  She seems to allow that as long as he doesn't get to close to her.  But then if I try to enter the same room with them, I get hissed at...alot!  I just back away, because she has swatted at Sammy a few times and I don't want that!

We are all still sneezing.  Meowm says the big purple sucky machine is kind of broken and she thinks all the crap gathering in the carpet may be the reason why.  No one is showing signs of runny noses or feeling poorly and that is a good thing.  Meowm doesn't want to have to try another round of icky medicines on us.

As for Meowm, her lungs aren't completely back to normal yet.  She is still pretty tired at the end of the day, but she has been making it full days at work so she is doing much better.  And while we think of it, THANK YOU TO ALL WHO DONATED FOR EMILY'S VET BILLS.  Meowm says she put a thank you on Facebook, but we need to post one here too.

Wordless Wednesday

Thankful Thursday

Everyone still seems to be improving, and we are very thankful for this.  Meowm says she slept straight thru the night for the first time in 2 weeks last night.  Us mancats wouldn't know since we are still banned from the big room.  Miss Emily and Meowm are still getting meds, but us mancats are down to just lysine.  We are all hoping for integration tis weekend! 

I especially miss the big room.  It is my favorite place and where I feel safest.  I like hiding under the big bed all day and then getting on the cat tree in the evening.  I can hardly wait to get back in there.  Hopefully Miss Emily has not taken over all the space and is willing to share.....and hopefully I can share too.

I think Orion just misses being on the big bed with Meowm....he is such a Meowms boy.  ;)

Mancat Monday

We are still here.  Meowm and Emily are slowly improving.  emily is still sneezing but her nose isnot running near as much as it was before.  Meowm tells us she has been enjoying the afternoon sun, and wants some scritches and is not afraid to ask for them.  Meowm also says that Emily will make biscuits for Meowm and will lay on her chest while Meowm scritches her. 

Us mancats are doing fine, our sneezing is not near as bad as Emilys was.  We are dying to get back in the big bedroom!  I so miss sleeping next to my Meowm!  Sammy is dying to have his top cat seat on the tree back.  Plus the big bedroom is where Sammy likes to hang out the most, so he is feeling the most put out.

Meowm did open the door the other day and hang out on the big bed with Emily to see what would happen.  She let Sammy come in-he took his time and walked on the outer edges of room to get to the tree.  Emily just watched him closely.  When I tried to come in, she hissed at me.  I guess she was feeling like one of us in there was enough.  It is a shame really, because I am so ready to meet her!  Hopefully by this time next week we will all be sharing the entire apartment!
