In Loving Memory of Junior
My handsome Meezer man:
You came to me shortly after China crossed the bridge. You helped heal my heart from her loss.
I remember picking you out, having never met you, only seeing a picture of you on the Rocky Mountain Siamese Rescue website. I had been considering another kitty, but then saw that you had been in your foster home for 2 years. That decided it for me right there, you were coming to your furever home with me, and you couldn't get here soon enough to suit me.
The day of your transport dawned, and it was a bit cloudy, but off I went with a friend to pick you up anyway. You were being transported from Denver by Michelle and her husband, and we were meeting in Rawlins, Wyoming, where I would take you and whisk you home. I remember peering in at you in your carrier at the truck stop we met at. I could tell you were a bit apprehensive, but you were just gorgeous to me. Once we finished our lunch, we went to Michelle's vehicle to make the transfer, then got you settled in my car. After a bit more driving, we got you settled in your new furever home.
For me, you healed my heart after having lost China. You stole my heart from the very beginning, and stole it again and again. The first time you laid your head on my arm and napped. The first time you curled up beside me on the couch and napped. The first time you curled up in my lap and napped. And a million other times.
I will miss your sweet face, your silky furs, the way you rubbed your little cheek against my arm. I will also miss your voracious appetite, your love of sparkle balls and even your vomiting when you would eat to quickly.
I could go on and on about you, but I don't have the heart right now. I will always love you sweet Junior. I will see you again one day.
Have fun over the bridge my sweetheart. I will love you forever.

We are so sorry to hear about Junior. We found out about you on Glogirly's blog. We lost our dear Lucy a couple of months ago and it was/is so hard to lose a family member. You have written a lovely tribute. Purrrs to you.

I believe that Junior and Whitey are looking out for us now. In my heart they having their big adventure in Heaven, romping through tall green grasses and then suddenly they will feel the tug on our hearts from missing them and they will stop and purr, knowing how we still love them so.
We never stop loving our angels. Did you know that my mom (when she was just a kitten herself) had a meezer boy named Junior? This is why my mom has a lifelong love of meezers. (((hugs))) to you as you remember your special Junior. This was a beautiful tribute and as time goes on, you know we will always welcome more memories of him.

I just came to know Junior because of a visit to Miss Peach an I am very sorry, that he had to loose his life. I live in the country in Germany with three cats and I have lost two very beloved cats in 2010, who had been with me for 18 years. So I guess, I know what it means, to loose such a tender and precious companion. But at least you can rest assured that you rescued this cat from misery and gave him shelter and love, a good life indeed. And maybe there will be others who need your love to be lavished upon them...

Hi there. It's me, Mal. I wanted to let Angel Junior, Orion and Sammy know that I got my wonderful Secret Paws package. It came quite a while before Christmas, but we always wait until Christmas day to do our Secret Paws. I'm sorry that you didn't get to see my post, Junior, but I think maybe you were watching from the Bridge when I opened my package tonight. I loved my presents and I hope you know how much I appreciated them.
