Will this cold ever leave?
Meowm comes in at night and seals us in! She tucks purrfectly good blankies at the bottom of the door and she hangs a wonderful blankie over the front of the same door. (I want that blankie to sleep on! It is soft and warm!) She hardly leaves the house...which is nice cause I love having her home toplay with me and keep me warm in bed at night.
But at the same time....I would like the giant window uncovered so I can see what is happening in the world. I can poke my head through the things she calls blinds, but that isn't as nice as having the whole window uncovered. Meowm even covered up that spot where I know there is a critter trying to get in! What in the world is a cat to do?

Mum does that too, covers stuff so you can't see out. Spring is coming soon. Plus mum was talking about your town. She may have to go there for work sometime in a few months.
I think yer Mommie just wants to make sure you stay warm and cozy!

Mom grew up in SLC, and some of her relatives still live there. She is glad not to have that cold!
Too cold. Owr Maw shuts off owr cat cage woofie door wen it gets too cold. Den we kaint go owt in da cage.

Whats a cat to do? Sleep, eat, play, snuggle, eat, sleep...
Here, in the Big Piney Woods, we are all hibernating, and hoping for an early spring.

It is not very cold here but I feel for all those kitties who are in the furry furry cold places. We had one morning of snow so far this winter and that was it. I still like snuggling in my fleece bed next to the radiator though.
Aw, ya look purrty cuddly an' cozy there. Maybe ya need to run around a lot like me to stay warm.

At least she tries to keep it warmer for ya. The Chip Man turns down the heat when they leave for work!! Then, the window shades are always up and the cold comes in from the glass. He doesn't get the whole "cold" thing.
