Meezer Monday
We didn't have any sun to speak of this weekend, so I am posting this picture in remembrance.
What we did have was Meowm around for 98% of the weekend! This is a miracle! And it was wonderful! I didn't get any brushies, but I did get lots of scritches and naps with her.
That naughty orange kitty came visiting last night. Meowm went out there and gave him scritches and some of our wonderful stinky goodness!!! I wasn't very happy with that, but it is cold and he does need food, so I didn't complain too much. I will have to get Meowm to get a good picture of him so you can see this dude who is trying to steal Meowms affections.....and who sprays on our porch!!!
Have a great week kitties!

Aw, the poor orange kitty. We're glad your mom is feeding him!
Our mom made her first insulated kitty shelter on the weekend, crude but we hope okay, for the neighbour's cat -- his human doesn't seem to care about him. It's COLD here now!
So thank your mom again for taking care of your visitor!
Your mom can find part one of the shelter our mom made here:

And part 2, finishing it off (yesterday) here: http://keaslife.blogspot.com/2010/12/finished-cat-shelter.html
It had to be low-budget! And small enough to fit on our step. The cat (Nico) was in it this morning, so he's using it!
I am glad that you got to have your Mum around so much. That is always a good thing!
How nice for you to have your Meowm around for the weekend.
That should be sunshine enough for any kitty cat!
We are glad the orange cat is getting fed as it is cold out.
Pity about the spraying..........!
love

Mom time is always purrfect...now, bring back the sun!
Your weekend was 98% Mom? That totally rocks! Nothing like quality cuddling to make your day purrfect.
Poor stray Orange, we bet he's not neutered and that's why he sprays. It's nice your Mom gives him a square meal and some love.
Thanks for the info on the styrofoam shelters. It would be better if we had a larger step and could do something like that, but we don't, nor do we have access to straw. We hope Nico will get at least get a bit of shelter, anyway -- but he lives in the adjoining townhouse, he shouldn't have to take shelter on our mom's step. Especially not in sub-zero temps. We don't think much of his human.
Poor Orange fella. Good thing your mom's such an angel!
your meowm is so wonderful for taking care of that orinch kitty!
You means hers went and petted a kitteh others than you two????
Oh shame on hers...uh, mum says hoomans do stuffs likes dat though.

BroFur and Butterskhotch spent much of the day - and night - in their khondo!
We are glad your meowm enjoyed the pikhs!
The SW VA Dal reskhue does GREAT work - and often hosts the ovFURnights when the GA to NJ transports need them -

Looks like visitor kitty needs a quick trip to the neuter doc!
Maybe then your porch will be safe and your friend will have a better life.
Hmm, beware of orange strangers, they may become part of the family!!
Your Mom is a good bean!
ps - thanks for the purrs for Rudy!
How nice of you to share, Junior - it sounds so cold where you are that I'm sure the orange kitty is grateful!
I hope you do get a picture coz I'd love to see him!
Slobbers,
