Kitty Monday!!!

Happy New Year!!!

We gotta get back in the swing of things! We are still enjoying our tent! But all our weather has done is get colder. We worry about the outdoor kitties every night and purr for them. Meowm puts out extra food and hot water, so maybe they have a chance to get a drink before it freezes. We have the winter homes out for them, but we don't know how much they are using them, but we hope two or three of them are sleeping in there every night. She had to doctor up a kitty the other day that had been in a fight and ahd been bleeding. He let her wash him up and check his wound. She put a bit of medicine on it and she has seen him since then and the wound looks okay, so we are purring a bit more for him.

Everyone stay warm, or cool if that is the climate you are in.

The mom puts food out for a feral too, and though she has a shelter on her step, he doesn't use it. No sign of frost bite, though, touch wood, so he finds shelter somewhere, thanks goodness. We're glad your mom takes such good care of not only you, but the outdoor kitties too!

Happy New Year!

We will purr for your outdoor kitties. It is not quite that cold around here so we are not that worried but we hate to think of them having to have frozen water...

Oh we worries about our outdoor ferals too. Is very cold. We gives them extra high-calorie foods so they can keep warm, but that never seems like enough.
We purrs for your outdoor kitties too!

Happy New Year!

That's very nice of your mom to take care of the outdoor kitties. And, it was very brave of the one kitty to allow her to treat his wound. Lots of purrs that they come through the cold okay.

Purrs to you tooo. Stay warm.

We've been making sure to replenish the water each day -

I will admit it was funny Sunday afternoon as Butterskhotch khame booking around towards the bakhk patio - little did she realise some fluffy tailed pup was out ;-)

Needless to say, she turned tail and ran ASAP!

Of khourse, she had the advantage of no tether

Looks like you are having fun! I know what you mean about the outdoor kitties. We have a heated water bucket outside for all the wildlife that passes by....and then two heated Kitty Palaces for any one who would like to stay....I think there is about 7 out there now....when it's -16 outside they need it! Poor guys....

That's so kind of your mummy.

Now WHERE did you get that tent, and do they make smaller ones?

Here we have a fox! We have also had deer in the garden but our mum worries about the fox who never used to come near the houses.
There is an argument in our house with the humans - our Dad says it is a wild animal and you don't need to feed him!
Our mum thinks it is starving and has put some food out well away from our garden as we bark and bark when we sniff him.
The winter is a hard time for animals with no humans to care for them - we are glad your Meown is caring for those kitties and hope they do well.
Much love

Oh meeze! It is rough out there for those ferals. Teri has been feeding 'our' two twice a day now but she hasn't seen them in a few days but the food is always gone. She doesn't think they use the shelters she built either even though one has a heat pad in it.

Oh, and you guys made Teri get 'teary' with your bid and sweet sentiments on the 'pot minus the mug' donation! U B Suweet!
