Tabby Tuesday

Thank you for the suggestions and kind words about our friends kitty "Selene". We really have to find out his new name. ;) Meowm may get to go visit him this weekend, so hopefully she can take some pictures of him. We hope you will keep purring for him and his family. Thank you.

Many Purrs for "Selene"...how about "Sully" for a name? Mr. Sully was such a hero piloting that jet, maybe Mr. Kitten can be a hero, too. He already is, in our book!

We're purrin', purrin', purrin'. We hope he sees again very soon!! Poor kitty, it's enough to have such a surprise 'down there', but then to loose your sight...poor fella. We're thinking of him, Lautrec and Tiny

I think we missed the part about your kitty friend being blind.

Our beloved Jonathan went blind in his last year before he crossed the Bridge. He did amazingly well feeling his way around. You just can't move furniture or stuff, and mom had to be careful about picking him up. You can't pick up a blind cat and carry him around the house because he won't know where he is!!! Mom couldn't resist snuggling with Jonathan, but she'd have to place him back on the floor in exactly the same position facing the same direction. We found a number of wonderful websites at the time by googling.
