Thankful Thursday
Today we are thankful for some more rain/snow. Yes, we are tired of seeing it, but it is always good to have moisture forthe wonderful Earth.
We are thankful Meowm is feeling better. She still gets wore out by the end of the day and by the end of the week, but she is improving as time goes by.
We are thankful, as always, to have a roof over our heads and food in our bellies. So many people are still struggling, including our Uncle Bean who has not had a job for almost a year now. Some purrs on his behalf would be appreciated....and while you are purring, please purr for all those in need.
We are thankful that Meowm can help out the feral kitties in our neighborhood. We are very intrigued by them, and sometime don't like them on our porch, but Meowm tells us that we are the closest they have to a home, family and regular food.......so we try to behave ourselves when they are around. Meowm has not seen her favorite "Squeaky" kitty and she fears the worst for him. He had an injured leg, and there is a major street nearby. But she is thankful that she has been able to provide him with some food and some love in his time with her.
Last, but certainly not least, we are thankful for our family and friends. Without them/you, all would be lost.

I agree -- we should all be thankful for what we have. We help out lost kitties in our neighborhood too. Poor little things just seem lost and scared....but we make sure there is fresh water and food for them and a dry place to sleep if they want....(we put a house outside for them with a heated pad....they like it in the winter....it is far enough away from the our house so they feel safe)
ALSO I hope your Uncle Bean gets a job soon....must be so tough....special thoughts going out to him!
What a nice post. We are sending B~I~G purrayers to your Uncle 'Bean that he finds work soon and for all of the other less fortunate.
What a lovely post - we are so glad your Meowm is feeling better although still tired.
We put that down to all your excellent care.
We are sorry to hear your bad news and we will be especially thinking of your Uncle Bean and keeping our paws crossed.
Our own mum is so very fed up with work but now she is feeling she is thankful she has a job!
Take care

It's always good to be thankful. We are purring and praying for Squeaky and Uncle Bean. It's hard finding a job these days. Mom says my eyes are like that all the time now. She can't understand why. She can't see the blue very often anymore. For awhile she thought I was going blind but I don't think I am cause I follow her hand when it's in front of me and she's moving it back and forth. She says the next time I go to the vet she is going to ask about it.

I hope using this weekend,
your mom could recover 100%~
And others wishes also be well , too.
What a lovely post. It reminds me of all I have to be thankful for, too. I am purring for your Uncle Bean to get a job soon and for Squeaky to be OK. Maybe someone found him and saw he was injured and took him in. I have given you an award.

You're right, it's so easy to forgot those little things and remind us to be thankful for all of it. I'm so sorry to hear that your Meowm was not well but glad to hear that she is better. I have to say this winter was quite hard. Thank you so much for your visit and kind comments.
We love you very much!
