Finally Friday
Well, our sun didn't last long yesterday. It clouded over, then the sun came back, then it clouded over again. And last night we got snow. Not a ton of snow, but enough to cover everything up and make it all cold again. Meowm is not happy about it, but knows that we need the moisture so she keeps her grumbling to a minimum. We are still hoping for some sun this weekend though.
In other news, Meowms favorite feral kitty, Squeaky, has a hurt hind leg. She can't tell what is wrong, as he has to much fur, so if you could all purr for him to get better, she would really appreciate it.
**ADDED** Meowm doesn't have a trap, or the money right now to get Squeaky taken care of. She is gonna watch over him and see how things go. She can pet him, but not pick him up, so he would have to be lured into any kind of trap/carrier and then tranquilized to get worked on. She is hoping he just has a sprain and it will heal on its own, but time will tell.

Can your Mom get her feral to the vet ? Or, is he really wild ... hope he feels better either way.
We are sorry to hear about Squeaky - we also wondered if he would go to the vet?
Sorry about your sunshine but we are kinda used to one day nice, next day back to the snow!
Enjoy your weekend - you can spruce up whatever the weather. Spring always comes eventually......

Poor Squeaky. I will think good thoughts for him.
Oh noes! Poor Squeaky! We will purr and purr!
Our cousin Cosmo Kitty had to go to the vet yesterday. Sunday night he came back in only 10 minutes after he went out with a booboo on his face and limping on his right rear leg. He stayed hidden from our Uncle Daddy until finally yesterday he caught Cosmo. Uncle Daddy thought maybe he was hit by a car, even though there is almost no traffic in the neighborhood. Mom thought a younger male cat beat him up since Cosmo is about 8 years old now and not the youngest, strongest, or fastest anymore.
And that is probably what happened. The Vet had to sedate him to x-ray his leg and examine him. It was not broke, but he did have a big old puncture wound which abscessed that the Vet had to lance. Poor Cosmo.
Sorry. That was a long comment, wasn't it? We sure hope Squeaky's problem is nothing serious.
awww poor Squeaky. My kitties are purring for him.
Good luck to Squeaky. Purrs.
Oh poor squeaky I so hope that it is just a sprain and it will heal quickly.. I will purr for you.. Hugs GJ xx
Poor Squeaky! I know how you feel we have some feral cats here also. We can't even get close enough to catch them. I feel so badly for all of those little guys out there that don't have loving homes. I hope Squeaky will mend quickly on his own.
Sorry you got snow. I have some I want to get rid of if you want some more....I would be happy to share!
The sunshine is definitely waffling.
We purrays for Squeaky to get better. Is not good to be outside cat with a injury.

Purrs out to Squeaky! Hopefully it isn't anything too serious.
Purrs for Squeaky, can we give you some of our snow?
Oh, am sending lots of healing slobbers and keeping all my paws crossed for Squeaky to get better all by himself soon! :-)
Slobbers,
Honey the Great Dane
